Definition:
A Spatial network is a graph, where the topological primitive: node represents a location, while the topological primitive: edge represents the adjacency relationship between locations. A Spatial network is thus constrained by some geometry and embedded in a two- or three-dimensional space (cf. Ulrich, Nourbakhsh, 2000; Barthelemy, 2011)
